Organic Saffron Threads – Premium Quality – 2g Pack

Pure organic saffron threads (also known as saffron stigmas) grown in Emilia Romagna, in the province of Piacenza. Zafferano Emiliano saffron falls within the parameters of Category I according to the ISO 3632 classification.

Our Zafferano Emiliano saffron is grown without the use of chemicals and has obtained organic certification: it is harvested and processed by hand, and is dried on the same day of harvesting, to best preserve its color and aroma. This natural production method not only preserves the purity of the product, but also guarantees a reduced environmental impact and greater respect for biodiversity.

It is suitable for all sweet and savory preparations: it is necessary to leave the stigmas to infuse in a hot liquid (water, broth or milk, according to the recipe) for at least 40 minutes before using it.
For suggestions on how to use it, discover our recipes in the blog section, or watch the video recipes on the YouTube channel!

The 2 g pack of organic Saffron threads allows you to prepare about 50/70 portions.

To make the most of all the properties of saffron, it must be stored carefully. The saffron package must be kept tightly closed and away from light, humidity and heat sources: the product, if stored correctly, has a shelf life of 5 years.
