Our saffron flowers are grown without the use of chemicals and are collected and processed entirely by hand: they are dried on the day of collection, in order to preserve their best color and aroma.
Dried saffron flowers can be used both for decoration and in the preparation of your dishes: they give a slight bitter note and a delicate violet blue color. They will be the ideal “secret” ingredient to surprise your guests!
Try to add them to cake or biscuits dough, or use them to prepare an unusual “risotto alla Milanese”.
They can also be used to make a saffron herbal tea, in addition to the saffron threads: saffron herbal tea has beneficial effects on digestion, has slimming and antidepressant properties and is a source of antioxidants.
